Basic information
Surge protector (or surge arrestor or lightning arrestor) is an device designed to protect electrical devices from voltage spikes.A surge protector attempts to limit the unwanted voltage supplied to an electric device by either blocking or shorting to ground.Surge arrestor provide excellent lightning protection and outstanding RF performance.All designs have low return loss, low insertion loss and low intermodulation.We offer quarter-wave type and gas discharge tube.

antenna.The surge protector's gas discharge element diverts a voltage spike to the ground wire (purchased separately) instead of down the coax cable to the booster.

Gas discharge element is replaceable.For in-building use with 50-ohm cell signal booster systems and 50ohm coax cable terminated with male connectors.

This product will not protect against a direct lighting strike to an antenna.If you are concerned about lightning strikes, we
recommend installing a lightning rod suitable to your building.
