1.Product Overview

TN58NS4 is a 1-port 100G OTN line service processing board designed for OptiX OSN9800 UPS U64 U32 and OSN8800 series wavelength division devices.It adopts ePDM-QPSK coherent modulation and SDFEC2 soft decision forward error correction technology, and works in the electric relay REG mode.The UPS subrack scenario can support line terminal TM mode, completing single 100G signal 3R regeneration, OTN encapsulation and de encapsulation, multi granularity service aggregation, layer crossing and wavelength conversion.It only occupies a single slot deployment and is the core service board of high-density backbone ultra long distance, metropolitan core and data center interconnection 100G coherent wavelength division network.

Basic specifications and physical characteristics

TN58NS4 adopts a standard single slot board structure, with physical dimensions of 261.5mm, 202.6mm, and 22.0mm, and a weight not exceeding 1.0kg.The power supply adopts 48V DC, with a voltage range of 38.4V to 57.6V, a typical power consumption of 110W, and a maximum power consumption of 125W when fully equipped with a single 100G service.The standard operating temperature range is 0℃ to 45℃, the extended range is 5℃ to 55℃, the storage temperature is -40℃ to 70℃, the relative humidity is 5% to 95% without condensation, and the MTBF is not less than 100000 hours.It has passed CE FCC RoHS certification and meets the requirements of high reliability and environmental protection for telecommunications grade.The panel is equipped with STAT, ACT, ROG, SRV four-color indicator lights for monitoring hardware status, business activation, software loading, and alarm information.The laser safety level is HAZARD LEVEL 1.

Core functions and business processing capabilities

The business speed supports the OTU4 111.81Gbit/s standard and is compatible with customer side business access such as 100GE, STM-640, OC-1920, FC1600, etc. The business mapping capability supports the aggregation of 80 ODU0 channels, 80 ODUflex channels, 40 ODU1 channels, 10 ODU2 channels, 10 ODU2e channels, 2 ODU3 channels, and 1 ODU4 channel into 1 OTU4 channel, supporting multi granularity ODUk mixed transmission, achieving efficient aggregation of low-speed business and high-speed wavelength scheduling. The error correction mode supports HFEC, SDFEC, and SDFEC2 soft decision forward error correction. SDFEC2 further enhances OSNR tolerance and, combined with wide domain DCM technology, extends the maximum transmission distance of standard single-mode fiber to over 300km, making it suitable for ultra long distance ULH coherent transmission scenarios. The complete cost processing supports OTN SM, PM, and TCM costs, supports non intrusive monitoring of ODUflex layer TCM, supports ESC embedded control channels and PRBS testing, provides BIP8 byte monitoring, laser bias current/temperature/optical power monitoring, and ensures network management and fault location requirements. Loop back testing supports line side, customer side, ODU0, ODU1, ODU2, ODU3, and ODU4 channel loop back, facilitating business debugging and troubleshooting. Protection mechanism includes 1+1 protection inside the cover plate ODUk SNCP, The SNCP branch has a service switching time of no more than 50ms, meeting the high reliability requirements of critical services.

Three light interface parameters

One 100G coherent optical port is equipped on the line side, using LC duplex connectors and modulation method ePDM-QPSK coherent modulation.The optical module supports C-band 50GHz interval adjustable wavelength type, with a working wavelength coverage of 1529.16nm to 1567.13nm, suitable for high-density DWDM 96 wave networking.The typical range of transmitting optical power is 1dBm to 3dBm, and the receiving sensitivity is better than -26dBm under the condition of BER ≤ 10E-12.The dispersion tolerance can reach up to 150000ps/nm, which is suitable for ultra long distance single-mode fiber coherent transmission scenarios.

Compatibility and deployment requirements for four versions

TN58NS4 is at least compatible with OSN9800/8800 system V100R010C00 version, paired with TN52UXCM, TN52XCH, TN16UXCM main control board.TN58NS4 only supports REG electrical relay mode in the OSN8800 T64/T32 normal and universal platform subracks; The OSN9800 UPS subrack supports both TM line termination mode and REG mode.Deployment requires the use of XCT+SXH, XCT+XM, or UXCT+USXH cross boards.UPS subracks support independent, master, and slave deployment.REG mode is used for backbone link electrical relay stations, and TM mode is used for business access and aggregation.TN58NS4 can be created as 57NS4 on the network management system, replacing TN57NS4 without software upgrade, and single slot deployment can significantly improve device integration density.
