The SLQ4A is a 4-port STM - 4 optical interface board.It is designed to transmit and receive STM - 4 optical signals.The board carries out the following key functions:
1.Optical - Electrical Conversion: Performs O/E conversion for the received STM - 4 optical signals, and E/O conversion for electrical signals to be transmitted as optical signals.
2.Overhead Processing: Extracts and inserts overhead bytes in the STM - 4 signals.It processes section overheads of STM - 4 signals and supports the transparent transmission and termination of path overheads.It also allows for the setting and query of J0, J1, and C2 bytes.
3.Alarm Reporting: Generates and reports various alarm signals occurring on the line, which is beneficial for equipment
management and maintenance.
