10G media converter is a photoelectric converter that converts Ethernet electrical signals and photoelectric signals. 10G transceiver can convert short-distance 10GBase-TX twisted pair electrical signals and long-distance 10GBase-FX optical signals to each other. This converter can be used as standalone unit or as slide-in module to the 19”converter rack Chassis for use at a central wiring closet. Different types of optical modules can be selected as needed, and the seamless connection between the optical signals of the Ethernet and the electrical signals. It not only can extend the transmission distance, but also has many advantages such as good data confidentiality, stable operation and easy maintenance.
